In 2006, Nintendo introduced the Wii game console. Almost instantly, users wanting to get the most out of the systems began to modify them to suit their demands. Wii modifications make it possible for users to view films, play emulation software and run copies of matches, all on their consoles. For users wanting to play backups of matches in their collections, running a Wii ISO at the Homebrew Channel is a simple way to do so and requires just a few actions.
Open your Web browser and browse to the WBSF Manger homepage (link provided in the resources section below). Click the download link to begin downloading the file. This application will let you add Wii ISOs to your USB storage device. When the download completes, double click the file icon to begin the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.
Run WBFS Manger. Connect your USB storage device into one of the USB ports on your PC. Whenever your drive loads, select it from the drop-down menu at the application window. If you haven't already ordered your device, click the"Format" button to format the drive to be read by your Wii console. Formatting a USB storage device will delete anything on it and allow it to be unreadable on anything but your Wii system. Allow several minutes for this process to complete.
Click on the"Browse" button from the program menu. Locate the
file which you want to grow your USB storage device and click the"Open" button. Repeat this step for any other Wii ISOs you want to put on your USB storage device. As soon as you've chosen all the ISOs you need to add, click the"Add to Drive" button. Allow a few minutes for this process to finish.
Eject the USB storage device from your computer.
Connect the USB storage device to the USB slot furthest to the left on your Wii console. Turn your Wii system on and open the Homebrew Channel. Run the"USB Loader" application from the Homebrew menu. Use your Wii Remote to choose the match you would like to play with and press on the"A" button to load the game by your USB storage device.
Copy any files in your USB storage device into your computer's hard disk before formatting the storage apparatus.
